Support

The support model

Residents are supported by a rostered team. Support covers personal care, meals, medication prompting within authorised boundaries, community access and skill building — shaped by each resident’s plan, not a house timetable.

Overnight arrangements, worker-to-resident ratios by time of day and the current household profile are all confirmed with you directly, because they change with the household and we publish only what is current. Ask us when you visit.

The household

The household

You’ll meet everyone before any decision is made, and the household has a say too. We talk through routines, noise, sleep, food, culture, language and what a good day looks like — for you and for them.

FAQs

Questions people ask us

Can I meet the housemates before deciding?

Yes — it’s a standard step in matching, for your benefit and theirs.

Do I pay rent?

Yes, from your income. Your plan funds the support. All costs are itemised in writing first.

Is the home suitable for my access needs?

That depends on what you need, so we work it through with you rather than answer it in general. Book a walk-through on 1300 765 559 and you can see the entry, bathroom, doorways and bedrooms for yourself before deciding anything.

How long does moving in take?

Typically several weeks: visit, assessment, roster of care, NDIA consideration, then a transition plan at your pace.

What if my needs change?

Your roster of care is reviewed — at the regular cycle, or sooner if something shifts. Support flexes; you don’t have to move out because needs moved.

Tell us what you need. We respond within one business day.

Call the office, or send the request form and we’ll confirm your funding pathway, your suburb and whether we can genuinely deliver what you need. If we can’t, we’ll say so and point you to someone who can.
