Diamond Care Victoria delivers NDIS-funded employment support across the City of Casey and Cranbourne — help to get ready for work, find it, travel to it and keep it. Registered for Assistance to Access and Maintain Employment, we work alongside Disability Employment Services and employers, funded through your Capacity Building budget.

Income, yes — but also structure, colleagues, a reason the alarm matters, and the particular confidence of being relied on. People with disability remain seriously under-employed not for lack of capability but for lack of the right scaffolding at the right moments. That scaffolding is exactly what this support funds.

How we fit with DES and employers
We’re not a Disability Employment Service, and we don’t pretend to be — DES providers handle job placement and employer incentives. What we bring is the daily-life layer DES doesn’t: the routines, travel, personal support and skill-building that make placement stick. We’ll work in a triangle with your DES provider and your employer, each doing what we’re actually funded and equipped for.

Can you find me a job?
Job placement is a DES role, and we’ll help you connect with one. Our funded role is making you ready, getting you there, and helping you keep it — the parts where placements most often fall over.
What funding does this use?
Capacity Building — typically Finding and Keeping a Job. We’ll confirm against your plan.
Can you support me at my workplace?
Yes, with your and your employer’s agreement — early-weeks on-the-job support is often the difference between a start and a career.
I’m not sure I’m ready for work at all.
Then that’s where we start — no pressure, staged goals, and honest conversations about what readiness looks like for you. Life skills support often comes first.
Does working affect my NDIS plan or payments?
Your NDIS plan isn’t means-tested against income. Centrelink payments have their own rules — we’ll point you to the right advice rather than guess at it.
