Quality & safeguards
How we’re held to standard — and how you can check
Diamond Care Victoria is registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, audited against the NDIS Practice Standards, and approved to 9 October 2028 across sixteen support types. This page sets out the safeguards behind every support we deliver — worker screening, training, incident management, restrictive practice reporting — and how to verify all of it independently.

Our workers
The people who support you
Every worker holds a current NDIS Worker Screening Check — a national clearance rechecked continuously, not a one-off police certificate. Every worker completes the NDIS Worker Orientation Module before their first shift, then role-specific training after it: manual handling, medication support boundaries, high intensity skills descriptors where relevant, and each participant’s individual plan. Supervision is scheduled, documented and real.
Incidents
When something goes wrong
Incidents are recorded, reported and reviewed — including reportable incidents notified to the NDIS Commission within required timeframes. We treat incident review as how a service learns, not as paperwork: patterns get analysed, practice gets changed, and participants affected are told what changed.
Restrictive practices
Restrictive practices
Where a participant’s behaviour support plan authorises a restrictive practice, we implement it exactly as authorised and report every use to the NDIS Commission monthly. The obligation in every plan is reduction over time — and the monthly reporting line is what keeps that promise honest.
