Daily personal care
Personal care with dignity built in, not bolted on
Diamond Care Victoria delivers NDIS-funded personal care across the City of Casey and Cranbourne: support with showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and daily routines. You choose your workers — including gender preference — and consent guides every task, every visit. Registered NDIS provider, approved to 9 October 2028.

How we do it
The most personal support there is
Personal care happens closer than any other support — in your bathroom, your bedroom, your morning. Done well, it’s almost invisible: you get on with your day, dignity intact. Done badly, it colours everything. So we build it around three non-negotiables.
Your consent
Sought each visit, not assumed from the roster.
Your preferences
From water temperature to conversation level.
Your workers
Matched to you — gender, language, culture — and changeable at your word, no justification required.
Scope
What personal care covers
- Showering, bathing and grooming
- Dressing and undressing
- Toileting and continence support
- Eating and drinking assistance
- Mobility and transfers around your home
- Medication prompting within the boundaries our workers are trained and authorised for
- Morning and evening routines that start and end the day on your terms
Single-worker support
If you choose support from a single worker
Some participants prefer one consistent worker rather than a team. Our NDIS registration includes a specific condition for exactly this arrangement: before single-worker support starts, we complete a documented risk assessment with you — covering safety, backup arrangements and how concerns get raised. It protects you, it protects the worker, and we’d do it even if the regulator didn’t ask.
Complex needs
When personal care becomes high intensity
Some personal care involves complex health needs — supports that require additional worker training and clinical oversight. If that’s your situation, we assess it properly rather than stretch a standard roster past its competence.
FAQs
Questions people ask us
Can I request a worker of a specific gender?
Yes, and you don’t need to explain why. Gender preference is a standard matching question, not a special request.
What happens when my regular worker is away?
You’re told in advance and introduced to the replacement — someone briefed on your routine, not a stranger with a printout.
Can workers help with medication?
Prompting and assistance within trained, authorised boundaries, yes. Anything clinical is matched to competency — see high intensity supports.
How are cultural and religious needs handled?
Tell us once and it’s in your support plan — worker matching, routines, modesty preferences, dietary rules. You shouldn’t have to re-explain your life weekly.
What if I want to change my worker?
Say so. The change happens, no interrogation. A support relationship you didn’t choose isn’t support.
What does personal care cost?
NDIS Pricing Arrangements rates, itemised in your service agreement before you sign. No surprises on the invoice.
Tell us what you need. We respond within one business day.
Call the office, or send the request form and we’ll confirm your funding pathway, your suburb and whether we can genuinely deliver what you need. If we can’t, we’ll say so and point you to someone who can.
