Therapeutic supports

Therapy aimed at daily life, delivered close to home

Diamond Care Victoria is registered with the NDIS Commission to deliver Therapeutic Supports — therapy focused on building the skills and function daily life demands, funded from your Capacity Building budget. We serve the City of Casey and Cranbourne. Call 1300 765 559 to talk through what you're working toward and how we can help.

The purpose

Therapy that answers to your goals

Therapeutic supports in the NDIS exist for one purpose: increasing your independence and participation. Not therapy as a standing appointment — therapy as a tool aimed at specific outcomes you’ve named. Getting dressed without assistance. Being understood the first time. Managing the supermarket. Every plan we build starts with the goal and works backwards to the therapy.

How it works

How therapeutic supports work with us

We start with your goals and your history — what your treating team and previous therapy have established, so nothing restarts from zero. Support is planned around functional outcomes and reviewed against them, with progress recorded in terms you can take to a plan reassessment.

And because we deliver daily supports too, therapy strategies don’t stay in the session: with your consent, the approaches that work are shared with your support workers, so practice happens all week, not one hour of it.

Working together

Working alongside your other therapists

Already seeing therapists elsewhere? Good — keep them. With your consent we coordinate rather than compete: shared goals, shared strategies, no duplicated assessments burning your budget twice.

FAQs

Questions people ask us

Are you registered to deliver therapeutic supports?

Yes — Therapeutic Supports is on our NDIS registration, approved to 9 October 2028, verifiable on the Commission’s public register.

What funding do therapeutic supports use?

Capacity Building — typically Improved Daily Living. We’ll confirm your available funding before anything starts.

How do I know if this fits my goals?

Tell us what you’re working toward. We’ll answer plainly whether therapeutic supports are the right tool — and refer you elsewhere if they’re not.

Can therapy coordinate with my support workers?

Yes — that’s one of the strongest reasons to hold therapy and daily supports with one provider: strategies practised all week, not filed after the session.

Do you see children?

Our registration doesn’t include early childhood early intervention. For school-age and older, ask us — we’ll answer honestly for your situation or refer you on.

Tell us what you need. We respond within one business day.

Call the office, or send the request form and we’ll confirm your funding pathway, your suburb and whether we can genuinely deliver what you need. If we can’t, we’ll say so and point you to someone who can.
